Citizen feedback and official grievances: which route to use?

Understand what posting on SarkarDada does and how to find an official government channel when you need a service response.

SarkarDada platform guide · Updated 13 October 2026

Does posting a review file an official complaint?

No. SarkarDada is an independent civic directory. A review contributes to public discussion of an office’s service. Posting does not submit a grievance to a government department, create a government case number or guarantee a response.

When you need action on a service issue

Use the responsible department’s official website to identify its current grievance or service channel. SarkarDada profiles link to government sources. CPGRAMS is another official portal you can consult; check its own scope, eligibility and instructions before submitting anything.

Keep the two records separate

A public review can describe your experience, while an official submission may require supporting information. Provide sensitive documents and identifiers only through the appropriate official channel. Do not publish identity numbers, phone numbers, home addresses or private case details in a public review.

Track an official submission through its own channel

If an official portal provides a reference or acknowledgement, retain it and follow the instructions on that portal for tracking and further action. SarkarDada cannot verify submission, status or resolution in a government system.

Check the source before relying on it

Government services and procedures can change. Follow the original government page, confirm the responsible jurisdiction and use its current instructions. Directory entries and cached public information are aids to discovery, not a guarantee that every service detail is current.
